‘Spirit Energies’ Caught on Camera

‘Orbs’ as they have come to be known, have been around ever since the discovery of the photography. However, Orb phenomena has really taken off over recent years since the advent of digital cameras. The reason for this seems to be that the process involved in capturing the image with a digital camera is very sensitive to light spectrum beyond that which the human eye can see. It also seems that the typical digital camera construction with the flash being close to the lens is also a factor that aids the capturing of orb type phenomena.

What are Orbs? Some orbs are due to natural physical phenomena like dust particles or moisture droplets in the air. Orbs can be formed if such are positioned in front of the lens when the flash is used. Developing your Psychic Senses

We are all born with six senses: Seeing: Hearing; Touching; Smelling; Tasting; and your sixth sense which for arguments sake we will call your psychic sense. From our first breath we are using and working our 5 senses, but not many people work on our sixth sense. This sixth sense can be very powerful indeed.

Let’s be totally honest here, most of us do not use our 5 physical senses to their full potential.

Seeing

Psychics use this sense a great deal their work. There are basically two different kinds of sight for the psychic. Some see images in their own mind. Mirror Gazing (Scrying)

Seeing ‘Spirit Faces’ in the Mirror

Traditions of ‘Mirror Gazing’ go back as far as mirrors themselves, and even beyond. Prehistoric man had a psychic nature. Sensitive’s of the time would have found themselves gazing into pools of water, unknowingly viewing through a window into spiritual realms. Using this method early man may well have seen departed loved ones and gained insights into how he could increase his chances of survival in the difficult environment he lived in.

Later traditions refer to various forms of mirror gazing ‘also known as scrying’ the ancient Greek were ardent mirror gazers. Historical evidence suggests that they used ‘cauldrons’ or any vessel large or small into which liquid was poured and then used for the purpose of divination.

Eastern Traditions used polished metal to obtain their visions. In the story of Aladdin and his lamp, it was when the lamp was polished that the genie appeared!

As with the story of Aladdin’ this timeless and widespread practice of mirror gazing even finds it’s way into folklore tradition. In the tale of Snow White and the seven dwarfs we have the wicked Queen and her famous line “Mirror mirror on the wall who is the fairest off them all?” Which needs little explaining in the context of mirror gazing.

In modern times there is much anecdotal evidence of people from all walks of life using mirror gazing. Abraham Lincoln is reported to have ‘seen in the mirror’ that he would win a second term of office as President of the USA.

Channeling – What is it?

Everyone can and has Channeled, at some time in their lives. If you have ever found yourself explaining something in detail but the words you are using do not fit with in with your own vocabulary. Writers and Artists often speak of not knowing where their inspiration comes from. If you have a problem and do not know which way to turn then all of a sudden you get a ‘brainwave’ and the answer to your problem is suddenly very clear. These are all examples of Channeling.

As I have already stated, above, most people have channeled at some point in time. However, Channeling is a skill that can be learned. It does not require a life-time of psychic abilitites, or to be ‘Spiritually Enlightened‘.
