I lost my brother 13 years ago and a few months ago I lost my father. Both losses were, and are still, felt by my family and I. However, I have been lucky to have seen a few spirits in dreams which put my mind at ease. Whilst I still miss them, I have been reassured that they are fine and always with me. I will try to explain my understanding of
People everyday are loosing those they love and I want to give them some guidance to understand and to tell the difference between a normal dream and a visitation dream. I am sure many of you have had a real visitation dream about your loved one but could not understand why that particular dream had the ‘substance’ it did. So I will try and explain the difference between a ‘normal’ and a ‘visitation’ dream.
I believe there are at least 8 things that relate to real visitation dreams
Real “visitation dreams” are really very easy to identify because they are very different than “normal dreams.”
1: The most important point of a visitation dream is that it feels “real.” It will also be very vivid. It will not start to fade with the morning light.
2: They are so real and vivid that you won’t have to ask if it is real or not. You will ‘feel’ it in your heart – you will “know” it was real.
3: Because they are so real and so vivid, you will remember visitation dreams very clearly for years, possibly for the rest of your natural life!
4: The person or animal will usually appear in the dream healthy and behaving in a loving manner. They will rarely appear sick or injured. They will never be angry, disappointed, depressed, or punishing. They will be “whole, complete, and perfect” because they are now at peace and have only come back to reassure you or their presence.
5: Whether or not they speak to you in the dream, they will still communicate clearly.
6: When they do communicate (either verbally or non-verbally), it isn’t because they want to engage in idle “chit-chat.” It isn’t easy for deceased loves ones to enter a dream. They come with a purpose, and they will convey the message and then be gone.
7: Most often, their messages fall into the category of “reassurance.” They come to let you know that they are fine and that they want you to be happy. Occasionally, they will come with a warning; however, when giving a warning, they will give you loving support and you will feel reassured by their presence.
8: After a visitation dream, when you wake up, you will often be filled with a sense of peace and love. You may even shed a tear, which is totally normal.
If you have experienced a visitation dream then I hope that I have been able to help you understand and accept the support and love that your deceased loved one has given you.
